South Holland
South Holland is a fast growing and thriving district with low unemployment and high levels of investment. Interest in investing in the district from retail, leisure, professional services and commercial & industrial sectors has grown considerably over the last twelve months.
The Council wishes to ensure that this business climate is maintained and its vision, 'to develop and promote South Holland as a thriving, living and working rural community' provides a direct link to Economic Development Unit, which directly contributes to the achievement of a number of the council's aims and objectives in social and economic terms.

Economic Development - The Economic Development Service (EDS) is designed to improve the economic well-being of all South Holland residents and businesses. They will be able to help with land and premises searches, EDS is currently already on electronic newsletter for businesses, and will be setting up a number of sectoral network forums.
