Support Schemes

Starting your own business may seem exciting yet daunting at the same time. This doesn’t have to be something you do on your own.

There are a number of support schemes available to make sure your business makes the best possible start and we have tried to arrange them on this site in a way that we think will assist you to find a scheme that can help.

Funding and Loan Schemes can be found in the Finance Section|. Schemes that provide support to train you or your workforce can be found in the Employment & Skills Section| and schemes to help existing businesses can be found in the Growing your Business Section|.

Schemes in this section are more geared to businesses that are starting up and include general advice for all types of businesses such as the Nottingham Business Venture (NBV) as well as specific help for social enterprises, farm/land based businesses and young people. Lincolnshire County Council also offers a number of support areas for businesses including trading standards law.
