What is the grant available for?

Grants4Growth provides: capital grants for SMEs to purchase/install efficient new processes, production facilities and clean tech, helping them to invest-to-grow.

Capital.

Percentage of Project Cost

Capital grant support is available up to a maximum of 28% of total eligible expenditure. Applications are assessed on merit by a Grants Panel; the actual amounts offered are typically determined by the total eligible expenditure, the outcomes of the initiative and grant funding available. What kinds of things could our capital grant support?

 a) investment in technologies or processes that lead to quantifiable growth, improve resilience or create/safeguard jobs

 b) efficiency initiatives in the form of waste, water or energy efficiency, recovery or reduction

 c) investment in technologies or processes that reduce the environmental impact of your operations

Eligibility Criteria

Most businesses from micro-enterprises to SMEs (up to 249 employees) located in the East Midlands are eligible to apply.  However, there are some additional eligibility criteria apply in terms of turnover and company ownership and some business sectors, such as agriculture, horticulture and retail are ineligible for support.

Delivery targets and required outcomes

Project should result in quantifiable actions to improve efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and help your business invest and grow (i.e. increase turnover/capacity, create new jobs, safeguard existing jobs).

Capital grant support is available up to a maximum of 28% of total eligible expenditure. Applications are assessed on merit by a Grants Panel.

Who provides the grant?

Grants are funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Grants4Growth programme is managed by South Holland District Council.
