Ningbo Cultural Industries Fair
China (Ningbo) Cultural Industries Fair (thereinafter referred to as the Fair) is going to be held Ningbo International Convention Centre from 13rd to 16th April, 2018, which will feature such two highlights as infiltration of intangible cultural heritage into life, culture & science and bonded cultural trade. Compared with its counterparts held in Eastern China, the Fair is both a comprehensive exhibition for cultural industries and trade platform characterised by the greatest number of exhibitors, the largest scope and the widest coverage.
The Exposition will have 8 exhibition halls covering 50,000 square meters. The eight exhibition halls are closely related to eight themes: "One Belt, One Road", city cultural industries, intangible cultural heritage, arts, technology, music, recreation and animation and cyber games. The "One Belt, One Road" International Hall is intended to recreate the ‘Silk Road’ to realise the sharing of cultural achievements. It has already invited the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the U.S. etc. The hall will contain the 1000-plus-sq.m. exhibition area of countries and regions along the Belt and Road. The Fair will also witness the exhibition of museum derivatives from British Museum in London. This year, several conferences for industrial cooperation are arranged which include Promotion Conference for International Investment in Countries Along the Belt and Road and Specialised Conference for the Coordination Between Design and High-end Cultural Industry. Some parallel sessions will also be held. All these activities will last from 13rd to 16th April.
Ningbo is the largest port in the world, also a mid-size city in South-East China with a population of around 8million. As a neighbour of Shanghai, it takes only 3 hours from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Ningbo. Also, it is convenient to transfer from international flights via high speed train, car or domestic flight.
