The aim of this section of the site is to provide an overview of the issues you might face as you plan to grow your business and link you with local providers who can provide services to help you.
There are a number of free business support schemes, often aimed at particular sectors or to help with specific issues. You can access these through Current Schemes using the left hand menu.
If you are looking for professional advice use the ‘Support, Training and Events’ search box to the right and use the ‘Professional Advice’ filter in your search to find any current events. If you are searching for a solicitor, accountant or other service specifically in your area use the ‘Contacts‘ list on the top menu, they can be listed by ‘Business Name‘, ‘Location‘ or ‘Business Type‘ to assist you.
The national Business Link| website has been enhanced and you can find excellent resources, videos and e-learning tools within the Growth & Improvement Service|. The aim of this site is to complement the Business Link site rather than duplicate.

The Business Link Helpline provides business support and advice over the phone when you are unable to access the internet or online business support services. The helpline provides a quick response service to people with simple questions about starting or runninng a business. It also provides a more in depth service for those with more complex enquiries.
