How to use this site

BusinessLincolnshire
The BusinessLincolnshire website is designed to complement the Government funded national Business Link website. The main aim of this site is to provide you with details of free and chargeable local support schemes, providers and key contacts.

Support Schemes
The site has five main sections.

Use the menu on the left of each page to find relevant support schemes.
If you are looking for a scheme to help you start a business, find it in the ‘Starting up Support Schemes'| section.
If you are looking for a loan for your business, find it in the ‘Finance Support Schemes'| section.
If you are looking for help with up-skilling your workforce, look in the ‘Employment & Skills Support Schemes|' section.

There aren’t many free support schemes available at the moment to help you start or grow a business so we have also included schemes that you will need to pay for.

Four Search Tools
1. Site search
A search box can be found at the top of each page to enable you to use a keyword to search the entire site.

2. Contact search

You can search the contacts directory by name or by location or support type, for example legal, finance, marketing, business support, training provider or property.

3. Support, training and event search

Printing Information
Some people using Internet Explorer versions 7 and 8 have experienced problems when printing from this site. To fix this, instead of clicking the ‘print’ button click the ‘print preview’ instead. Here you can set the zoom level. 100% is default and not recommended. If you set to ‘shrink to fit’ your page will be resized to fit within the printing boundaries.

By default, Internet explorer will not print background images. This can cause bullet points not to print out correctly. You can amend the default in your Internet Explorer print settings.
