Barclays support Ready Rent a Car to expand
Ready Rent a Car specialises in supplying cars, vans, minibuses, lorries and commercial vehicles for personal and business use. With established operations in Grimsby, Lincoln and Scunthorpe, they were looking to expand by purchasing a site at Goulton St in Hull.
To support the acquisition, Barclays Corporate provided Ready Rent a Car with a new funding package. The finance gave them the flexibility to push ahead with the purchase and the confidence to take advantage of the opportunity in the face of current market conditions.
With their expansion plans driving forward, Ready Rent a Car now employs over 60 staff. They plan to increase their coverage of the area and create a new client base north of the Humber to capitalise on renewable energy projects that are planned for the future.
