Cyber security is commonly seen as an issue for larger companies to consider. Small businesses often do not consider themselves to be at risk. There is a misconception that it is a technical subject and that thousands of pounds must be spent to protect information.

This interactive masterclass will look at how anyone can be the victim (intended or otherwise) of a cyber-attack. This can be in the workplace or in the home. As a business or as an individual. You will look at some of the most common types of basic attack such as ‘the use of malicious software’, ‘password attacks’ and ‘phishing’ and consider how these could affect you.

We will also look at simple, low-tech, cost-effective ways that you can protect your business and personal information – real tips that you can take away and use.
