The Future of Sustainable Supply Chains

The Greater Lincolnshire Manufacturing Network’s second event, exclusively for manufacturing businesses in the region, will tackle the challenges of establishing a fully sustainable supply chain which is compatible with Industry 4.0.

Event Information

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, known as Industry 4.0, is already bringing tremendous industrial growth and opportunities for innovation in the manufacturing sector. With increased outputs and significant logistical operations, maintaining a sustainable supply chain is crucial to managing the environmental impact and profitability of a business.

The importance of incorporating sustainability in supply chains has been a recent focus for academia and industry alike. To achieve sustainability, a company must address environmental, social, economic and legal concerns across its entire supply network.
