Event Information
NB - This is an interactive masterclass and we try to recreate an interactive classroom environment, where the sessions are live via the zoom video conferencing platform and all delegates are expected to participate in the discussions. Feedback from other delegates have stated that the interaction and shared learning experience was one of the most valuable parts of the session.
This Masterclass will show you how to navigate the forest of options and settings available to you in Google Ads, across Search, Shopping and Display campaigns. This hugely powerful platform can be a gateway to business growth, but handled wrongly it can also be a money pit!
Join us for a thorough explanation of how Google’s advertising system works, the best options for your type of business and the key things to watch out for when managing your live ad campaigns. You’ll learn how to ensure you’re measuring a real return on investment from your advertising, the right choices to make when selecting campaign options and how to create great ads that capture attention.
Whether you’re an ecommerce retailer or looking to generate enquiries from your website, this Masterclass will show you how to get the most from your ad spend, from choosing the right targeting options to optimising live campaigns in Google Ads.
Session 1 - Wednesday 24th March 2021 (10:00 - 11:30)
The first session covers setting up an account correctly, creating your first campaign and how to ensure measurement and reporting are working. You’ll learn how to choose keywords, write ads and analyze campaign data to optimize performance.
Crucially, the session explains how the Google Ads auction works and how advertisers manage their spend, along with the differences between automated and manual bidding and how to set the targeting options appropriately.
Session 2 - Wednesday 31st March 2021 (10:00 - 11:30)
The second session explores the range of platforms and websites you can advertise on with Google, including the Display network and Shopping ads. You’ll learn how to create different audiences for your ads and how these can be used to fine-tune campaigns.
From standard text ads on Google Search to YouTube and Gmail ads, there are a huge array of options for ad formats and targeting to explore. For ecommerce retailers, you’ll also learn about Google Merchant Centre and the importance of a good product feed.
