Get More Business using Google Analytics & Digital Marketing Data

This Masterclass will walk you through setting up Google Analytics and Tag Manager to maximise the information you can gather about your website visitors

Event Information

NB - This is an interactive masterclass and we try to recreate an interactive classroom environment, where the sessions are live via  the zoom video conferencing platform and all delegates are expected to participate in the discussions. Feedback from other delegates have stated that the interaction and shared learning experience was one of the most valuable parts of the session.

This Masterclass will walk you through setting up Google Analytics and Tag Manager to maximise the information you can gather about your website visitors. From there, you’ll explore all the major reports available to you and learn how these can give you invaluable insights into ways to boost traffic and sales from your website.

You’ll then see how tools such as Google Ads and Search Console expand on the data in Analytics, together with insights from Facebook Ads, LinkedIn and Twitter, providing a rounded view of how people find and interact with your business online. Understanding this data is key to identifying what works, what needs fixing and how your marketing efforts are performing.

Session 1 – Thursday 10th June 2021 (10:00 – 11:30): Covers setup and configuration of Google Tag Manager and Analytics, along with additional tags such as the Facebook Pixel. This ensures that your website is gathering all the data possible and reporting in a meaningful way, especially conversions such as enquiry form submissions and ecommerce sales.

Session 2 – Thursday 17th June 2021 (10:00 – 11:30): Explains all the major reports available in Google Analytics, highlighting the ones that have most value and can point you to things that need improvement. The session also provides explanations of what the metrics really mean, so that you can interpret them correctly.

Session 3 – Thursday 24th June 2021 (10:00 – 11:30): Provides details of tracking additional activity using Google Analytics and Tag Manager, such as clicks on email addresses, video plays and file downloads. This session also explains URL tagging to ensure you are accurately measuring all your traffic from email marketing, social media and ad campaigns.

Session 4 – Thursday 1st July 2021 (10:00 – 11:30): Looks beyond Google Analytics to other sources of data that provide additional information, such as Search Console and LinkedIn insights. This data helps you understand your digital marketing better, from the search terms used on Google when people found your website, to the types of people and companies interested in your activity on social media. Using this, you can better optimise your website and social media activity to generate more traffic.

Session 5:  After you have completed the three interactive sessions you will be entitled to a 1:1 session with the presenter who will review your activity and provide feedback bespoke to your business.
