Event Information
NB - This is an interactive masterclass and we try to recreate an interactive classroom environment, where the sessions are live via the zoom video conferencing platform and all delegates are expected to participate in the discussions. Feedback from other delegates have stated that the interaction and shared learning experience was one of the most valuable parts of the session.
It costs 7 times more, in time and money to find new customers than it does to keep your existing ones. This series of masterclasses will help you retain your existing customers by keeping them informed, keeping them happy and to feel valued, as a customer.
Session 1 - Thursday 13th May 2021 (10:00 - 11:30)
Session 2 - Thursday 20th May 2021 (10:00 - 11:30)
Session 3 - Thursday 27th May 2021 (10:00 - 11:30)
Session 1 (Thursday 13th May 2021 - 10:00-11:30) - Strategy
Presented by: Kelly Hunstone
Marketing is not just about finding new clients; it's about keeping them.
Retention marketing, sometimes referred to as lifecycle marketing or loyalty marketing, is a new term that essentially boils down to keeping customers engaged, happy, and spending.
It costs businesses seven times more to attract new customers than it does to retain existing ones. In this session, Kelly will introduce you to retention marketing and to turn customers into repeat buyers and prevent them from switching to a competitor. We will also explore fan-based customer engagement and how to maximise word of mouth marketing.
Session 2 (Thursday 20th May 2021 - 10:00 - 11:30)– Managing Your Clients
Presented by: Guy Lewis
How do you manage your clients? Through a written task list, automatic calendar reminders or is it a bit hit and miss?
This masterclass will look at the technologies that can be adopted to help build on your marketing strategy by helping you manage your clients more effectively on a day-by-day basis.
Whether through Microsoft office or some CRM (customer relationship management) software, this masterclass will go through their capabilities and look at different ways of using these technologies to keep both in touch with and retain your clients and how these systems can help to deliver marketing material in this data driven world.
Session 3 (Thursday 27th May 2021 - 10:00 - 11:30) - Tactics
Presented by: Deborah Goodall
Holding onto customers can be significantly cheaper and much more cost effective for a business than to keep acquiring new customers – but it’s probably easier said than done.
We are creatures of habit – shopping in the same supermarket, probably buying the same basket of shopping each week – so how can we create a culture with our customers where our product or service becomes a “habit”.
In this interactive masterclass we’ll look at ways to retain your customers – the practical steps you can take in your business to hold on to customers and use the information that they provide to grow your business.
Secure your place
The interactive masterclass is fully funded, and places are limited so be sure to apply for yours today. Confirmation of your place will be sent separately once your eligibility has been checked post receiving your application.
Please note we are only able to offer one place per company to ensure we can support as many businesses as possible. To qualify for this funded support, your business must be a small to medium enterprise (SME) based in Greater Lincolnshire. Apologies, but support intermediaries, public bodies, or financial sector businesses are not eligible.
Am I eligible?
The workshop is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within Greater Lincolnshire (North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & Lincolnshire).
To attend, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’s eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file).
Please note that attendance at Business Lincolnshire events will not preclude eligibility to access grant funding.
