Sustainable and green features in construction aren’t exactly new, but interest in eco-friendly or green buildings has grown significantly in recent years and we are seeing these new, sustainable, high-performing structures appear all over the world.
Why is this happening?
With COP26 on the horizon, consumers and businesses alike are recognising the impact of climate change and the grave importance it has on our environment.
This discussion, hosted by Chamber low carbon economy ambassador and MD of Amelio Solar Energy, Richard Jones, will be joined by a panel of experts from the public, private and education sectors, to discuss the roots of sustainable design, benefits and challenges compared to traditional design practices, as well as what’s happening now and any thoughts on sustainable construction beyond 2021.

Richard Jones, Amelio Solar Energy
