Low Carbon Homes

FREE online workshop as part of a series of warm up events to the Lincolnshire Climate Summit on the 13th October. An interactive session with Lincolnshire residents on the support and opportunities available to reduce the carbon emissions of your home.

Event Information

On the 13th October, Lincolnshire County Council are holding the first ever Lincolnshire Climate Summit during the run up to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow.

As a warm up for the event, Lincolnshire County Council are hosting a series of free virtual workshops available to everybody from the 20th to 23rd September. The events will cover a wide range of climate centric topics, from how to make your business more sustainable to individual and community led climate action.

Come along to hear from our panels of Lincolnshire businesses, organisations and residents who are leading the way with their decarbonisation solutions. This workshop will be an interactive session with Lincolnshire residents on the support and opportunities available to reduce the carbon emissions of your home. Topics covered include energy and building fabric improvements, support for residents from local authorities and personal experience with retrofitting homes. There will be an opportunity for viewers to ask questions after the presentations.

Our aim is to bring together people across the county, including the public sector, businesses, communities and individuals, and will provide the opportunity to focus on what can be achieved when we all work together to tackle climate change, and showcase some of the amazing things already being implemented across the county to reduce our emissions.
