With the furlough scheme entering its final weeks, more and more businesses are encouraging employees back to work implementing either a full-time return to the workplace or hybrid working.
Our fifth #BLLive Show on Tuesday 28 September at 12 noon will focus on the role flexible working will play in the return to the workplace, discuss job uncertainty and the redundancy support available, plus explore personal resilience and how to deal with the challenges of the past 18 months and those that lie ahead.
We will be joined by Adam Davey of CIPD Lincolnshire who will share insights into making the shift to hybrid working and how best to manage mixed physical and remote teams, including tips for facilitating collaboration and productivity. Business Lincolnshire’s Business Resilience Lead, Meryl Levington, will talk about why resilience is not only important for businesses but for their leaders and staff too, the signs that resilience is high or low and what can be done to boost individual resilience. Finally, Graham Metcalfe of the Department for Work and Pensions, will introduce the Kickstart Scheme, a funded job creation initiative for employers which may also assist those experiencing difficulties to recruit and provide details of the support available for struggling businesses facing restructuring decisions.
