Join this interactive masterclass to learn why getting those business basics in place is vital to creating a sustainable and successful business.

You’ll be invited to share your experiences of managing your business and explore important aspects of running a small business in the Visitor Economy.

You’ll leave with the tools and knowledge to appraise your current systems and processes understand the importance of implementing budgets, sales & marketing plans & resource management strategies

The key content areas covered during the sessions are:

• How much do you manage your business? or does it run you?
• Do you have a budget or a business plan?
• How do you plan the resources you will need – food, drink & staff
• Do you have a sales and marketing plan?
• What management information do you use to run your business

Presented by Stuart McFarlane-Bedford who has an extensive portfolio of business skills and experience that has been gained over the past 30 years working in both private sector and public sector organisations and running his own businesses.

He has gained a wide knowledge base through a varied career in some of the top global technology companies (Panasonic & Sony) and in economic growth development for the public sector.

His expertise covers – account & financial management, sales & marketing, product & project management, training & team management and regularly coaches business leaders and management teams.

He develops business support programmes and presents masterclasses and writes blogs on a range of business related subjects.

Please note we are only able to offer one place per company to ensure we can support as many businesses as possible. To qualify for this funded support, your business must be a small to medium enterprise (SME) operating within the Visitor Economy, on the East Coast of Lincolnshire.

To attend, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’s eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file).
