“Home & Office - The New Hybrid Flexible Working”

As businesses prepare for what working life looks like in a post-pandemic changing world many businesses expect to continue to offer employees the chance to operate a flexible hybrid system of working

Event Information

Our January Meeting will be focusing on the cyber security risks working from home & office:

A remote workforce comes with extreme dangers, with employees relying on their home networks and sometimes their own computers and devices.

Yet, for better or worse, remote working is here to stay.  So, getting your IT remote working set up correctly and ensuring all employees can work securely from home will put your business in the best position to embrace the working patterns of the future.

If you’re among the many businesses now offering employees that choice, you must take the time to seriously review whether your remote working practices are suitable and risk free. You may have escaped unscathed so far, but it only takes one simple mistake for disaster to strike.

At our next Lincolnshire Cyber Security Forum on 20th January 2022 our industry expert speakers will explain everything you need to know to keep your business free from cyber-attacks, including our top tips to ensure remote workers stay safe.

Keynote Speaker Ryan Bradbury Director at Cyberlab will be talking about: -

  • Prepare a checklist detailing how to safely re-introduce devices to the company network
  • Update asset registers
  • Educating users on changes to ways of working
  • Review your cyber security policies with senior managers to ensure they reflect new practice
  • Consider colleagues who will not be returning to the office
  • We will also hear from Lincolnshire Police Cyber Crime Unit and Industry experts about the latest cyber-attacks and scams and those linked to the COVID-19 pandemic
