Making craft beer work for your business

Come and listen to the latest craft beer research while enjoying a free brewery tour and beer tasting hosted by Old Nicks Tavern.

Event Information

Learn how craft beer can work for your business.  Old Nicks Tavern, home of Horncastle Ales, will be hosting an event that welcomes Dr Daniel Clarke from the University of Dundee and Dr Victoria Ellis-Vowles from the University of Lincoln, to discuss how craft beer can be used to extend and develop your business offering.  Drawing from their latest book “Researching Craft beer: Understanding production, community and culture in an evolving sector”, this multi-disciplinary research collection enhances understandings of craft beer within the UK and internationally.

Come and enjoy a free brewery tour hosted by the Horncastle Ales brewer, then learn how to interpret beer flavours with a complementary pint of ale.  Taking a seat, Daniel and Victoria will discuss some useful craft beer insights that can be used to position your business to attract more customers and to build your craft beer brand.  Horncastle Ales brewer and owner of Old Nicks Tavern Ross Ellis, will draw from his 18-year publican experience to offer insight into the practicalities of using craft beer as a way to different your business.

This event welcomes aspiring and present owners of breweries, those looking to open a craft beer bar, and craft beer practitioners keen to identify insights into the likely future developments within the sector.
