A 2 day workshop funded by Lincoln BIG Collaboration for Growth, held at New Life Centre in Sleaford, and presented by Chamber members Shooting Star.

Think you’ve got nothing to shout about? Think again! Every business no matter how small has a story to tell and we can show you how to tell it for maximum impact. Whether you’re celebrating a significant milestone, recruiting more staff or rolling up your sleeves for charity, we will teach you how to get the recognition you deserve.

The workshop will look at how to build relationships with the media and generate positive news coverage for your business.

We will show you how to research, write and issue releases to targeted media as well as how to pitch your stories to journalists. PR is also about avoiding and handling bad publicity.

As well as highlighting positive PR opportunities we’ll teach you how to spot potential bad news stories within your business and how to mitigate them. We’ll also cover the importance of having an integrated approach to your communications strategy and help you identify your target audiences and how to reach them both on and offline.
