This seminar will explore the rise of new technologies such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and AI (artificial intelligence), giving specific focus on their potential in all types of business and the relative accessibility of these new technologies.

While some businesses may feel these are gimmicky, our presenter Andrew Nye will show how they have the potential to solve real world problems and save money.

Session One
In the first session we'll cover the basic definitions of the technologies as well as some notable case studies of successful projects.

Session Two
In our second session we'll demonstrate some implementations of the technology and discuss the practicalities of bringing AR and VR to your business.

Andrew will be playing some videos and handing round devices for a more hands on approach later in the session.

About your presenter
Andrew brings a wealth of experience, having worked in digital technology for more than two decades, completing over 200 interactive projects. Since 2012 he has specialised in immersive technology for enterprise and heritage. He now works as an independent XR consultant, advising companies on the best way to utilise new technology and has presented a TED talk on the subject.

The event is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within Greater Lincolnshire (North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & Lincolnshire).

To access this event, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’s eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file).
