HS2 is a dedicated passenger railway that will connect London and Birmingham, joined by routes to Manchester and Leeds in 2033. HS2 will open up local and regional markets, attract investment and provide a focus for regeneration. It will improve job opportunities for hundreds of thousands of peopel across Britain.
