What does the business do?

Visual Print and Design provide high-quality print and design solutions for businesses across the UK. They have an impressive portfolio of products available for print, ranging from leaflets and silver-foiled brochures to promotional products such as stationery and mugs.

Visual Print and Design are eager to become the go-to print suppliers for promotional products, priding themselves on being a customer-focused company that makes ordering print an easy and enjoyable experience. With 30 years of industry experience under his belt, Managing Director Graham understands that this can only be achieved with a passionate team around him operating to consistently high-quality standards.

What's the history?

After working in the print industry for many years, Graham decided to go it alone. Starting in his shed 10 years ago in 2009, Graham built his company on one simple idea “Bringing the client’s vision to print, no matter the job”.

Starting with just £500 in the bank, Graham’s determination has meant his business has grown year-on-year to the success it is now.

While continuing to build the Lincoln based production headquarters, Visual Print and Design also opened a second branch in Scotland in 2018. The second branch is currently being managed by Lorraine Noble-Thompson, a print industry expert with over 35 years experience.

Graham’s passion for print production seems to be infectious as the growing team around him share the same enthusiasm for print. Back in 2018, Charmaine Hartley won Apprentice of the Year at the Lincolnshire Media Business Awards, and more recently Scott Jones became a finalist for ‘Employee of the Year’ at the Lincolnshire Live Business Awards 2019.

How have Business Lincolnshire helped?

When Graham got in touch with the Growth Hub he was eager to grow his business, but he felt he could benefit from some specialist advice to do so.

The first step involved creating bespoke growth support that allowed Visual Print and Design to have a guideline that they could follow through the often unpredictable world of business.

The second step focused on securing grant funding to help the company purchase some new print equipment. This, in turn, has opened up a wealth of new print production opportunities that have helped Visual Print and Design further cement themselves as the go-to print and design company.

What's next?

Visual Print and Design recently celebrated their 10th birthday. To mark the occasion the company has celebrated with an exciting rebrand, an updated website, new print products and new staff all planned for the near future!

With Graham’s passion for print production, the future of Visual Print and Design will undoubtedly be an exciting one!
