A world of opportunities is available to businesses wanting to explore exciting new export options

Published on: 10/05/2018

Businesses across Greater Lincolnshire are being presented the opportunity to position themselves strategically in the continually evolving global market place, by taking advantage of the many export opportunities available in the county. Businesses wishing to learn more about the best ways to enter a new overseas trading market or expand an existing global footprint are encouraged to come along to this one-off event.

The Going Global event, organised by the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub and supported by the Department for International Trade (DIT) and Streets Chartered Accountants, will take place on 17th May at Hemswell Cliff. This event will offer any business looking to expand and evolve its current customer base advice from a panel of experts as well as an overview of export markets across France, North America and the Middle East, whilst also providing the opportunity to speak directly to business owners who have successfully navigated the overseas marketplace.

Cllr Colin Davie, Executive Member for Economy and Place at Lincolnshire County Council, said “Businesses across Greater Lincolnshire have the potential to thrive and develop in overseas markets. By providing the support and knowledge to enable them to do this, we are helping them to fulfil their dreams of growth and expansion in the UK and beyond which will, in turn, help to boost local economy”.
