Start-Up and Grow 2018, an event for business start-ups and self-employed business owners or entrepreneurs, will be taking place next month at the Showroom in Lincoln. The event will be primarily focussing on supporting businesses in the start-up phase, with talks on business planning, finance, marketing and legalities, and a chance to put questions to a panel of business experts and local business owners.
The popular annual event, organised by the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce and supported by the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub and Streets Chartered Accountants, aims to provide support to those thinking of starting their own business or in the early stages of running a business in Lincolnshire, preparing them for any challenges that they may face and providing useful resources such as funding advice and business logistic support to ensure their new business venture is well established for success.
Samantha Harrison, Head of the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub said “We want to support as many people as possible who are looking for some expert advice on where to start when setting up a business, and utilise the knowledge of the many successful business owners and expert advisers and support programmes that we have across Lincolnshire. This type of event can be invaluable to someone setting up on their own for the first time, as it can provide information beyond the basics for starting-up, from people who have been in their position previously.”
