The Horncastle hub has 3D printers and laser cutting equipment to help businesses with design, prototyping and small-scale fabrication, while Lincoln offers those facilities as well as expertise in the heritage sector and larger-scale 3D printing, scanning and cutting.
The Motion Capture Hub provides businesses access the latest in motion capture equipment.
You may want to create a prototype of a new product or develop a new service. You may want to get a greater level of detail about the interraction of your workforce with machinery in the production line. Whatever your reasons for having an interest in new technology, the Lincolnshire Technology Hubs would love to hear from you. And at each hub you can access 12 hours of free business support for eligible businesses to help get your project off the ground.
Some of the equipment in the hubs have been purchased thanks in part to funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). All of the equipment purchased with European funding can be used for free by eligible local businesses, with just a small charge to cover insurance and materials.
Business to qualify for the free suuport should be SMEs with businesses based in Greater Lincolnshire. Certain sector restrictions also apply. Please contact the Business Lincolnhsire Digital Business Support Team to clarify eligbility.
