General Information

To keep up to date with the ongoing situation in Ukraine and to find further information about #StandWithUkraine and how you and your business may provide support, the UK Government has developed a ‘what you can do to help’ page.  They have developed a guide of Ukrainians arriving in the UK which can be accessed here.

There is a whole range of information and resources available from Lincolnshire County Council’s dedicated resource page which includes information about the Ukrainian Resettlement Schemes and how Ukrainians can access wrap around care support, including opening a bank account, accessing benefits and financial support, once they have arrived here in Lincolnshire.

Greater Lincolnshire LEP have also got a dedicated Ukraine Support page which provides a detailed series of Q&As with further ideas and information about how your business or organisation might get involved in the effort or offer support.

The UK government has created a guide which contains information on the Ukrainian market environment, logistical and operational factors businesses must consider when trading in Ukraine, and further support available to UK businesses. This guide will act as a helpful resource for UK businesses already active in Ukraine and others who are preparing to enter the market. The guide can be found here

Offering and Finding Employment

Ukrainians arriving in the UK are being signposted to online job vacancy platforms. Below are several useful links to job search sites where vacant positions can be offered and applied for:

There are plans to develop a local job matching service. Details will be published here once confirmed.

Offering Financial Support Locally

The Lincolnshire Community Foundation are offering a mechanism for everyone to contribute to the Lincolnshire Welcome which will be used to help Ukrainians that come to Lincolnshire to resettle and provide support with transport, broadband and digital resources, access to leisure, vouchers for toys, etc. Donations can be made here.

Impacts to Imports and Exports and Business Travel

DIT has expanded its helpline to act as a single entry point of enquiry for businesses and traders relating to the situation in Ukraine and Russia. Businesses with enquiries relating to Ukraine/Russia are encouraged to contact DIT’s Export Support Service helpline (0300 303 8955) or Digital Enquire Service. The ESS landing page also features a dedicated link for Ukraine/Russia enquiries. ESS will be the first point of contact for business and trade enquiries relating to Ukraine/Russia, as well as continuing to provide support to businesses exporting to Europe.
