The Community Assets Fund (CAF) is a £1.2 million fund launched by WEst Lindsey District Council. It is not a traditional grants fund but is designed, through a mixture of loan and grant, to support the development of community-owned enterprises.
If you have plans to develop a new service in your community to fill a gap, bring back a lost service, or protect and secure an endangered community asset such as a shop, pub or community centre, then this fund may be able to help.
The fund is looking to support ideas that fall under the following four key themes - Community Halls, Social Enterprises, Community owned enterprises, community sports groups. More information can be found on the website http://www.plunkett.co.uk/whatwedo/CommunityAssetsFund.cfm
The fund is aimed at local projects in West Lindsey.
Please refer to the details under each of the four themes.
Up to £10000 or up to £150,000 depending on the theme and the type of scheme.
The Fund is managed on the Council’s behalf by CAN and the Plunkett Foundation.
If you would like to discuss your project or the Fund in more detail please contact the Plunkett Foundation on 01993 810730 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
