Lindsey Action Zone - LEADER funding from the Rural Development Programme for England (Free)

What is the business support?

This programme provides support in the following areas:

  • Support for increasing Farm and Forestry Productivity
  • Support for micro and small enterprises and farm diversification
  • Support for Rural Tourism
  • Support for cultural and heritage activity
  • Provision of Rural Services

Restrictions

Projects must based be in the LAZ area which covers the Wolds, villages and market towns of Caistor, Louth, Spilsby, Horncastle, Market Rasen and west to Gainsborough.

Support and grant funding to realise a project in your area, which could include the construction of premises, the provision of facilities and/or services.

Who runs it?

The Lindsey Action Zone (LAZ) LEADER Group is one of 87 Local Action Groups who are part of the Rural Development Programme for England. A European Union initiative delivered through Defra.  Lincolnshire County Council and East Lindsey District Council also contribute financially to the programme.
