LIBS Connect: Embracing Diversity in the Workplace

08/03/2018 - 10:00-15:00 - Free

About the Event

The World Economic Forum's 2017 Global Gender Gap Report findings tell us that gender parity is over 200 years away; but as we know diversity and inclusion in the workplace is about far more than gender. It simply makes good business sense to ensure that our entire workforce is valued, productive, and engaged.

This third LIBS Connect event, sponsored by the Lincolnshire Growth Hub, will explore this critical topic, and will discuss ways organisations can give every individual the chance to achieve their potential, free from prejudice and discrimination. So please come and join us on International Women’s Day, to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of diversity in our organisations.

This event aims to be provocative, challenging, and inspirational, and combines keynote talks from academia and industry, as well as group discussions around the challenges you face and solutions you’ve tried around this theme. We will facilitate these discussions through the World Café methodology is a simple, effective, and flexible format for hosting large group dialogue, where you will have the opportunity to discuss, in groups, different equality and diversity leadership issues.

Places at this event are limited to 150 book your place on this event without delay
