Promoting Positive Behaviour 1 Day Course

12/03/2018 - 09:15 - 15:30 - £130 (£70 for BGU Students and Alumni)

About the Event

A day course for student teachers, teachers and support staff designed to enable successful behavioural inclusion of individuals and groups whilst fully meeting the needs of their peers.

Behaviour management is not about dealing with issues as they arise.  Behaviour managment is about avoiding those issues in the first place.  If you deal with those issues as they arise, you will not reduce the number of incidents.  If you avoid the incidents by understanding the behavioural triggers you will significantly reduce challenging behaviour.

This training is designed to enable successful inclusion of a broad range of individuals and groups of learners including those with neurological disorders such as ADHD, Autism, Asperger Syndrome, other ASDs and related conditions whilst fully meeting the needs of their peers.  Furthermore, the strategies are completely appropriate and effective for a range of other learners.
