Bowen Architects is an architectural practice with bases in London and Lincolnshire. Founded by Chris Bowen in 2010, Bowen Architects became a limited company in March 2017. The company has a pragmatic approach and aims to create delightful buildings. We have a commitment to sustainability alongside a passion for quality. Our ethos combines innovation and common sense, and celebrates individuality. Recent commissions span a wide range of building types and scales from one-off houses, extensions, developments, community projects and listed buildings. We have worked on projects with values ranging from fifty-thousand pounds to six million. Our projects are client-led, with an informed understanding of the environment, the site and the surrounding context. As a flexible young practice with a wealth of experience we bring good design to any project, whatever the scale. We believe every project should be uniquely tailored to the requirements of the client so each building is finely tuned, bringing pleasure to the daily rituals that define our lives.
