Have your say and help your business by joining our panel of businesses taking part in the Quarterly Economic Survey for Lincolnshire.
The QES is a business questionnaire which provides an essential health check on Lincolnshire’s economy every quarter. The results are closely watched and analysed by senior officials, business leaders, government at both local and national level as well as the HM Treasury and the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee.
Simon Beardsley, Chief Executive at Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce highlighted the importance of the QES saying:
“As good business practice it is imperative that local businesses participate and fill out the survey in order to provide an accurate and detailed picture of the local economy.
“All responses are seen from senior officials at Downing Street, as well as government at a local and national level, the HM Treasury and the Bank of England’s Monetary Committee.
“The results show real and timely data for anyone wishing to understand the economic shifts in Lincolnshire and it is always interesting to examine these shifts to understand more broadly how well our business community is performing.
“The unfiltered information we can access from QES can underpin strategic decisions to ensure we grow in the right way. It is our responsibility as business professionals to provide local input and see how we measure against other areas in the UK”.
The Lincolnshire QES forms part of the British Chamber of Commerce national business survey and is one of the most significant contributors to this vital piece of research.
All businesses in Lincolnshire are eligible to fill out the survey which comprises of no more than 25 tick box questions. It covers a full range of topics including employment, confidence, investment and other external factors and it only takes two minutes to fill out.
The survey is completely anonymous and is available to fill out from now until Monday 27th November.
