Business Support Services

The City of Lincoln Council have a dedicated Business Service Team who can provide a range of support and advice for new and existing businesses.  It is also one of the four Local Authorities backing the LINBIS Business Support Network, which is designed to encourage business start-ups and entrepreneurs and help boost the local economy. The City of Lincoln Council, alongside North Kesteven District Council and East and West Lindsey District Councils are working in partnership with the private sector to provide one-to-one, face-to-face professional support for start-up businesses.

The Business Service Team promote the area of Lincoln for investment by providing a diverse level of service to our customers and local businesses.  They deal with enquiries, local marketing, inward investment and liaise with agents and developers, helping businesses to invest, expand and grow.

Its a confidential service, handling all types of business enquiries from start to finish, with varying levels of involvement according to client wishes. In addition to this the City of Lincoln Council can facilitate meetings with relevant parties and signpost to other help and advice as required.

The team has ready access to, and can obtain details of commercial premises including industrial, office, retail and land available in the Lincoln area.

The team:

  • Promotes local and inward investment
  • Delivers local and national marketing
  • Offers and operates Managed Office Workspace and meeting facilities; Greetwell Place and The Terrace workspaces
  • Liaise with local and national agents and developers
  • Promotes and raises awareness of investment opportunities.
