What is the Business Support?

Please note the dates below commencing in January 2026 relate to cohort 4. To access a place on the course, you MUST be able to attend all of the dates in the series.

Unfortunately, there are no more places in cohort 3 commencing in September.

Our AI Accelerator Programme is designed to guide Lincolnshire business leaders through the journey of AI adoption, from overcoming initial barriers to implementing practical, AI-driven solutions.

This programme is for you if you are you a business leader looking to save time, boost productivity, and drive innovation using AI. The Programme is designed to take you from understanding AI fundamentals to implementing AI-driven automation in your business, all while connecting with like-minded professionals who are also embarking on their AI adoption journey.

This hands-on programme will guide you through practical AI adoption, custom GPTs, and automation, leading to the development of a Proof of Concept (PoC) to help secure funding for AI projects. The programme culminates in a Demo Day, where participants will showcase real-world applications and success stories.

Daily Task Review and AI Tools for Productivity

  • Identify time-consuming business tasks and explore AI solutions to streamline them.
  • Hands-on demonstrations of AI-powered tools for increasing productivity across key operational business areas. 
  • Learn to integrate AI into daily workflows without requiring technical expertise.
  • Engage with local business leaders to discuss AI adoption strategies, share insights, and explore collaboration opportunities.

Introduction to Custom GPTs – AI That Works for Your Business

  • Discover what a Custom GPT is and how it can be tailored to your business needs.
  • Learn to customise GPTs for customer service, content creation, or internal processes.
  • Understand key security, ethics, and compliance considerations, including GDPR and AI bias.
  • Join small group discussions with other participants to share AI adoption experiences and practical strategies for implementation.

AI Automation – Supercharging Your Custom GPT

  • Take your GPT to the next level by integrating it into business workflows.
  • Learn how to automate tasks using tools like Zapier and Make, reducing manual effort.
  • Participate in hands-on demos and guided exercises to connect AI models with emails, customer queries, and CRM systems.
  • Join small group discussions to exchange insights, share automation experiences, and learn how SMEs are successfully scaling their AI solutions.

Creating a Proof of Concept (PoC) & Applying for AI Funding

  • Learn how to develop a robust Proof of Concept (PoC) to demonstrate the feasibility of AI in your business.
  • Discover available funding opportunities (e.g., Innovate UK) and learn how to pitch your AI projects to secure support.
  • Create a roadmap for taking your AI solution from PoC to full implementation and securing resources for growth.

Showcase Your AI Journey

  • Present your AI implementation or PoC to the cohort.
  • Gain constructive feedback and expert insights to refine your AI projects.
  • Discover new use cases and explore emerging AI tools.
  • Network with fellow participants to discuss implementation challenges and opportunities for collaboration.

Restrictions

  • Availability for up to 20 businesses. 2 individuals may attend per business, however 1 attendee must have decision making authority within the organisation.
  • The organisation must have been trading for 12+ months.
  • Attendees must be present for all workshops.
  • Available for all businesses across Greater Lincolnshire.
  • Available for all business sectors.
