As the Government looks for new ways to support the economy as we deal with the global Covid-19 pandemic the availability of, and eligibility for, business grants is changing at a rapid pace.

With business owners struggling to come to terms with the new normal, and with diversification, digitisation and pivoting of business models taking much of the focus it can be hard to navigate through the grant funding landscape.

If you want to know what grants are available, and what types of activities they’ll fund – whether locally, regionally or nationally allocated – then this interactive webinar is for you.

As well as painting the picture of availability, you’ll learn about the key elements that grant funders are looking for. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about your business, your investment plans and how grants might help you.

NB: Please note this is a two-part interactive webinar, being delivered on Tuesday 15 and Tuesday 22 September via Zoom video conferencing.

About the presenter – Russell Copley

Russell has been helping Lincolnshire businesses access the “right funding at the right time” for the last 8 years, heading up the Lincolnshire Investment Network (now part of the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub). He has many years’ experience prior to this, both here in Lincolnshire and across the East Midlands.

In the last 3 years alone, Russell and his team have:

- Helped over 150 Lincolnshire SMEs to access grants, loans, investment and funding advice;

- Delivered 16 workshops and seminars to help businesses become “investment ready”;

- Directly helped small businesses raise over £3.5m investment from grants, small business loans and business angel investors;

- Supported a well-known local brand to pitch on TV’s Dragons Den programme.

On behalf of Lincolnshire, Russell chairs the Regional Advisory Board of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund, and so is well connected into a range of business finance sources.

Secure your place

The masterclass is fully funded and places are limited so be sure to apply for yours today. When booking you are committing to attend both sessions. Confirmation of your place will be sent separately once your eligibility has been checked post receiving your application.

Please note we are only able to offer one place per company to ensure we can support as many businesses as possible. To qualify for this funded support, your business must be a small to medium enterprise (SME) based in Greater Lincolnshire. Apologies, no support intermediaries, public bodies or financial sector businesses.

Am I eligible?

The workshop is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within Greater Lincolnshire (North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & Lincolnshire).

To attend, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’s eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file).

Please note that attendance at Business Lincolnshire events will not preclude eligibility to access grant funding.
