Tuesday November 29th & December 6th - Social Media Strategy - simplifying your social media 

2 x 90-minute sessions - 10.00am – 11.30am 

Take control of your social media so it does not control you - spend less time on your social media and get better results by understanding the channels that reach your customers. 

These sessions are designed for those who are using social media currently but want to improve the results, or if you are just setting up your business accounts. We will look at where you are now, and where you want to be who you are trying to reach - and whether social media is the channel to reach them - and the right messaging to use and develop a content planner that removes the “what to post today?” headache.? 

Areas covered: 

We will identify your aspirations and understand that ad hoc use of social media is not the way to use these channels. Social media it is not the destination, but it is just part of the business journey, and it could deliver for their business. 

We will profile target audience(s), understand what they look like, what their barriers to purchase might be. Identify which social media platform (if any) their audience is using and that the messaging for the audiences might be different 

We will look at Brand Guidelines – the importance of these and how to write your own. They will develop a planner to take away (and develop further) based on their target audiences, messaging and objectives and understand what makes good content from trusted sources, types of content, engagement & insights on different platforms Presenter – Deborah Goodall 

Deborah has 25 years’ experience of growing businesses through effective marketing. She specialises in marketing strategy through understanding target audiences and their triggers and motivations. 

Deborah has worked as a consultant for 9 years. Prior to this she worked client-side, so understands the difficulties facing marketing departments and business owners. She is commercially astute and has experience in B2B and B2C environments. Deborah has a passion for direct marketing, with a background in mail order. 

Running masterclasses and workshop since 2009, Deborah provides content to help businesses make the most of their marketing potential - covering planning, strategy, brand and execution.? 

Deborah was elected to be a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2019 in recognition of her coaching and consultancy experience.

This interactive masterclass is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within Greater Lincolnshire (North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & Lincolnshire).

To attend, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’s eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file - please notify us if you have already completed a form)/

Please note that attendance at Business Lincolnshire events will not preclude eligibility to access grant funding.

This interactive masterclass is fully funded and places are limited so be sure to apply for yours today. When booking you are committing to attend all the sessions, including a 1:1 with the presenter. Confirmation of your place will be sent separately once your eligibility has been checked post receiving your application.

To qualify for this funded support, your business must be a small to medium enterprise (SME) based in Greater Lincolnshire.
