Event Information
Making sure your business is visible has never been more important and PR is a powerful tool in the marketing mix.
About this event
The masterclass is available to businesses, partnerships, and sole traders, operating in any sector supporting the Visitor Economy, on the East Coast of Lincolnshire.
In the digital world, PR stories reach online media outlets as well as traditional print and have the potential to be shared widely on social media to reach even more people and add credibility to your brand.
You'll learn about why PR is such a powerful tool, what makes a strong news story and understand the basics of writing a press release. We'll also look at how to sell your story, the power of a good image and to increase the reach of a story both on and offline.
By the end of this 90 minute session you'll be confident to create your own news stories, pitch to the media and extend their reach.
This is part one of a two-part series, it can be attended as a standalone session.
Part 2: Getting the public to identify with your business.
The key content areas covered during the sessions are:
- Understand the importance and value of PR
- How to get the media interested in your story
- How to use PR to amplify interest in your business
