People love buying but hate being sold to !!!! 

The art of sales is not to try and sell but to create the environment for people to buy. 

In business we are always selling ourselves and our organisation, whether we know it or not and particularly in small businesses where every interaction with a customer is a form of selling. 

So, in this masterclass I want to dispel the myth about sales, the ill-informed perception that selling is a process of forcing someone to say yes, when actually a successful sales pitch it is a structured conversation where relevant facts are communicated, that are of great interest to the customer, and it helps them resolve an issue they have. 

To be successful at the art of sales we need to understand the following: 

The relationship between marketing and sales 
The principles of Sales – Why do people buy? 
Learning and using the key sales techniques 
Exploring the psychology of the buyer . 
Presenter – Stuart McFarlane-Bedford 

Stuart is the MD of his own coaching business – Stuart McFarlane Associates Ltd – specialising in sales training, executive coaching, and Leadership & Management Development. 

He has spent 30 years working in the corporate and business work with over 20 years working in sales for global electronics corporations Panasonic & Sony, he is a qualified management coach with the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) and worked for Innovate UK as a project manager. 

Stuart has an extensive portfolio of business skills and experience that has been gained from working in both private sector and public sector organisations and running his own businesses. Through a varied career in some of the top global technology companies and in economic development in the public sector he has gained a wide knowledge base in the following areas – account & financial management, sales & marketing, product & project management, training & team management.

This interactive masterclass is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within Greater Lincolnshire (North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & Lincolnshire).

To attend, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’s eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file - please notify us if you have already completed a form)/

Please note that attendance at Business Lincolnshire events will not preclude eligibility to access grant funding.

This interactive masterclass is fully funded and places are limited so be sure to apply for yours today. When booking you are committing to attend all the sessions, including a 1:1 with the presenter. Confirmation of your place will be sent separately once your eligibility has been checked post receiving your application.

To qualify for this funded support, your business must be a small to medium enterprise (SME) based in Greater Lincolnshire.
