Environmental sustainability for aerospace suppliers

The MAA and the University of Nottingham are organising a collaborative event on environmental sustainability targeted at helping smaller aerospace suppliers.

Event Information

As part of the Aerospace Unlocking Potential programme, the MAA and the University of Nottingham are organising a collaborative event on environmental sustainability targeted at helping smaller aerospace suppliers.

Working closely with experts from leading Midlands aerospace companies Collins, Meggitt, Moog and Rolls-Royce, you'll be shown how Midlands SMEs can develop their own policies and approaches as they work towards Net Zero 2050.

Along with members of the Aerospace Unlocking Potential team the speakers will share what is considered to be the top five priorities for aerospace suppliers in a day consisting of presentations, workshops and practice sharing opportunities, along with practical guidance to:

  • Form a structured approach to address environmental sustainability
  • Demystify ‘carbon jargon’ and help you become carbon literate
  • Benchmark energy usage (Scope 1,2 & 3) and reduce associated costs
  • Signpost useful resources and existing expert support
