The workshop is available to businesses, partnerships, sole traders, and registered charities, with a trading address located within Greater Lincolnshire (North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire & Lincolnshire).

To attend, your business must complete an SME enrolment form in order to check the business’s eligibility against the funding criteria. (The form will be sent to you on completion of an Eventbrite booking - if one has not already been completed and on file).

Please note that attendance at Business Lincolnshire events will not preclude eligibility to access grant funding.

About the Workshop

In this workshop you will learn what should, and what shouldn’t, be in a Business Plan to be used to support funding applications – whether for grants, bank loans, business angels or crowd funding. You will understand what the key elements that your audience will be looking at, and learn how to present these in the best light.

We'll discuss the following:

  • What level of detail do you need in your Business Plan when seeking funding?
  • What financials should you include?
  • Are your plans different for different types of funding (eg. Grant, debt, equity)?
  • What’s the difference between a Business Plan, Executive Summary and Pitch Deck? How much detail should you go into?
  • If you need, or are going to need, additional funding in your business then come along and learn what your plans or applications must cover, and how they should cover it.
