This is 3 week programme and delegates must attend all sessions.
Week 1 – 1 Day Workshop – Day 1: 5th February – 10am – 4.00pm & 6th February – 9.30am – 4.00pm This intensive workshop led by an experienced business trainer will teach you the nuts and bolts of starting and running a successful business including: what skills are needed to run a business, the importance of Business Planning, how to market your business, understanding opportunities and risks and how to manage money in a business.
Week 2 – 1 Day Business Plan – 12th February- 10am – 3.00pm “He who fails to plan is planning to fail!” – Sir Winston Churchill It’s time to focus in on the Business Plan, the all-important ‘road map’ for your business. Of course, if you are looking to raise money through loans, investment or grants then you’ll need a business plan. If not, it’s simple: businesses with a clear, well thought out Business Plan survive and grow better than those without. In this interactive full-day session, you’ll learn the component parts of the Business Plan, how to ask yourself the right questions, the importance of comprehensive market research, how to calculate your start-up costs and how to develop realistic financial projections.
We will also talk about the additional support that NBV can provide once you are up and running including business advice, business workshops, networking, office facilities and much more. Upon completion of the 3 days, you’ll get a certificate and, more importantly, you’ll have everything you need to get your business up and running! **Due to our funded contract this workshop is only available to individuals or businesses residing in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Greater Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.**
