Hooton Engineering was started back in 1955 by Ron Hooton, an inventor and blacksmith from North Owersby. Since then the business has expanded and developed into a company specialising in manufacturing bespoke stainless steel fabrications, supplying unique products to a wide range of clients in various different industries.

Before accessing support from Business Lincolnshire, Hooton Engineering had been experiencing steady growth since 2011. However, Managing Director, Richard Marshall, was eager to increase this rate of growth moving forward. Richard discovered the growth hub through Ray Newell, who is part of the Business Lincolnshire supply chain team.
