In a bid to offer more inclusive networking opportunities for local retailers, the Grantham Business Club successfully launched its new Retailers Event on September 14th. The inaugural gathering was held at Finkin's function room and witnessed a remarkable turnout of business owners eager to connect and learn about growth opportunities.
The event's first guest speaker and one of our very own Growth Hub Advisers, Amy Clark, delved into the myriad of opportunities that Business Lincolnshire has to offer, emphasising the availability of UK Shared Prosperity grants for retail businesses. As well as discussing upcoming grants, Amy also touched on the events, training programmes and workshops geared towards empowering local business owners to grow and prosper.
The event's second speaker, Andrew Martin, the chair of the Grantham Business Club, shared his personal journey as a business owner. He highlighted how effective networking played a pivotal role in sustaining his business during national financial crises. Andrew also imparted his "5 Steps to Networking on Purpose," offering valuable insights to businesses seeking to enhance their networking skills.

"Your Business Boost" takes a cohort-based approach, offering participants the chance to work alongside their peers while also providing opportunities for one-on-one support. The program features group sessions, masterclasses on topics such as Marketing, HR, and Sales, and personalised support from subject experts.
Participants will be assigned a dedicated "Your Business Boost" advisor to guide them through the program, ensuring they access the support that best suits their needs. The program culminates in a final group session where participants collaborate to create action plans, share insights, and set ambitious goals for their businesses.
