Productivity Programme for Greater Lincolnshire

;

What is the Business Support?

Many forms of activity fall into the category of 'productivity' - from creating a brand new product, through to diversifying your existing product line, implementing a new process or refining a process already embedded in your business. If you are looking to do something differently then this could be for you! We would encourage you to get in touch for an initial chat to discuss your ideas so that we can determine the most effective way for the programme to support your business. The support available includes:

Productivity Vouchers - Provide SMEs with access to the University's expertise, technical support, academic know –how and specialist equipment and facilities. Fully funded through the programme, business receive up to 20 days of dedicated support from one or more academic. Support could include product development, feasibility studies, product/market testing, design or development of an idea.

Productivity Grant - Grants from £1k - £10k, which we ask you to 50% match are available to SMEs which can be used for a whole range of activity which could include buying the services of third party specialists to help with capability/capacity gaps (e.g. Patent attorney, technical specialist). The grant could contribute towards the purchase of small capital equipment, such as tools or systems to support business productivity improvements, development of new systems e.g. modelling software and costs associated with product or services development – design reviews, focus groups, market surveying or testing, prototypes etc.

Internships - Does your company need a fresh injection of talent? Through the internship scheme if you employ someone who has graduated in the last 3 years on a minimum 3-month contract, then you could be eligible for £1.5k towards his or her costs.

Growing Graduate Enterprise - Support for recent graduates and postgraduates to start up in business, assisting them to develop their creative, entrepreneurial ideas into a growing, profitable business, through both workshops and grant funding.

Business Support - We offer businesses free 12 hours of advice and support with specialist advisors, which includes business planning, marketing, financial readiness and access to Business Angel support.

Unfortunately this scheme is currently unavailable to support Rutland businesses.
