27 October 2025 - 5:00 pm • 27 October 2025 - 9:00 pm • Harlaxton Manor, Harlaxton, Grantham NG32 1AG

Event Information

This is the second of two in-person workshops for a brand-new Adaptive Leadership in Action programme to support leaders of charities, social enterprises, socially focused businesses and community groups across South Kesteven. The programme is designed to help social economy leaders build adaptive capacity, strengthen their teams, and lead effectively through complexity.

This event is the second in-person workshop of the programme. The programme combines two intensive workshops, two virtual sessions, and practical peer learning, covering:
– Diagnosing systemic challenges and leading through ambiguity and resistance
– Applying adaptive leadership principles to real-world organisational problems
– Building trust, fostering healthy conflict, and strengthening team accountability
– Using participatory methods to empower staff and volunteers
– Developing presence, resilience, and the ability to hold courageous conversations
– Applying Patrick Lencioni’s “Five Dysfunctions of a Team” model to begin to create high-performing teams

Participants will engage in simulations, peer case clinics, and reflective exercises to test their leadership approaches in safe, supportive environments. They will also have access to leadership supervision sessions to help explore their leadership styles and unlock their full potential.

Delivered by the prestigious Harlaxton College in partnership with South Kesteven District Council, funded by the UK Government Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Places are free, booking is essential. Open to organisations based in or serving communities in the South Kesteven District area.

To complete the course also sign up for the first workshop ‘Leading Through Complexity’ on the 13 October.
