New to Google Analytics - Understand Your Website Visitors with Google Analytics

Designed for beginners upwards, even if you’ve never even seen Google Analytics before, the webinars explain all the basics to leave you with a solid understanding of how to use Analytics

Event Information

NB - This is an interactive masterclass and we try to recreate an interactive classroom environment, where the sessions are live via the zoom video conferencing platform and all delegates are expected to participate in the discussions. Feedback from other delegates have stated that the interaction and shared learning experience was one of the most valuable parts of the session.

Over two sessions, these webinars are designed to walk you through setting up Google Analytics and Tag Manager to maximise the information you can gather about your website visitors. From there, you’ll explore all the major reports available to you and learn how these can give you invaluable insights into ways to boost traffic, enquiries and sales from your website.

Designed for beginners upwards, even if you’ve never even seen Google Analytics before, the webinars explain all the basics to leave you with a solid understanding of how to use Analytics and what you’re looking at in the reports! Understanding this data is key to identifying what works, what needs fixing and how your digital marketing efforts are performing.

Session 1 – Wednesday 24th November 2021 (10:00 – 11:30): Covers setup and configuration of Google Tag Manager and Analytics to ensure your website is gathering all the data possible and reporting in a meaningful way, especially conversions such as enquiry form submissions and ecommerce sales. The session then moves on to look at the Audience group of reports, exploring what you can find out about the people visiting your website.

Session 2 – Wednesday 1st December 2021 (10:00 – 11:30): Explains all the remaining major reports available in Google Analytics, highlighting the ones that have most value and can point you to things that need improvement. The session also provides explanations of what the metrics really mean, so that you can interpret them correctly. This session also explains URL tagging to ensure you are accurately measuring all your traffic from email marketing, social media and ad campaigns.
