Offer an opportunity through the Work Experience Finder
The Greater Lincolnshire Work Experience Finder makes it easier for employers to offer meaningful workplace experiences and connect with schools, colleges and young people across the region. Employers can create opportunities, manage applications and communicate with applicants through one free platform.

The Work Experience Finder is delivered by Futures for All in partnership with the Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub.

Modern work experience gives young people multiple opportunities to meet employers, explore industries, understand workplace expectations and develop skills for their future.
Your contribution could be:
An hour
A careers talk, Q&A, mock interview, CV review or skills session.
An afternoon
A workplace visit, workshop, behind-the-scenes tour or business challenge.
A day
An insight day, job-shadowing opportunity or practical workplace project.
Several days or a week
A structured placement involving meaningful tasks, interaction with colleagues and feedback.
Ongoing support
A longer-term relationship with a school or college, including becoming an Enterprise Adviser or supporting careers education.
Whatever you offer
The experience should have a clear purpose and give young people a meaningful insight into the world of work.
You do not have to be a large employer to get involved.
Young people benefit from meeting people working in different industries, organisations and roles. Sole traders, microbusinesses, SMEs, charities, public sector organisations and large employers all have valuable knowledge and experience to share.
You do not need a dedicated HR team, current vacancies or a formal work experience programme. A conversation about your career, a workplace visit or a practical challenge could introduce a young person to possibilities they had never considered.
