Local Skills Improvement Plan Quarterly Workshop - Rutland

FSB has been leading the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) for Greater Lincolnshire & Rutland since Summer 2022, and after lengthy consultation with the local business community, our plan of action to better skills provision with employers’ needs was published by the Department for Education in August 2023. But what happens now?

Phase 2 of the LSIP – the stage we are in now – is all about delivering the plan. We are busy convening colleges, independent training providers, skills and trade bodies, local authorities and other stakeholders to make sure each of the LSIP’s 40 priorities are actioned.

But that’s not all - employers still need to feed into the process. You need to have the chance to get updated on progress and priorities, add your views on how each focus area develops and take part in workshops that will influence this next crucial phase. Book your free place on this date to have that chance.

This event is open to all employers across Greater Lincolnshire & Rutland and marks the second in a series of five workshops. Look out for the next quarterly events taking place in Grimsby, Boston and Lincoln over the next year.

A light lunch will be provided at the end of the main workshop.
