Does your business have a workforce comprising of multiple EU nationalities? Uncertain of what you need to do to ensure your business is ready to handle the changes to immigration for EU nationals working in the UK post-March 2019?

During this breakfast briefing, Thalej Vasishta and Lydia Watkinson, of Paragon Law, will provide you with a detailed overview of the substantial immigration changes that Brexit will bring and equip you to deal with the impact of these on your EU workforce.

You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about any aspects of the Settled Status Scheme and the future immigration system that will be put in place.

By attending, you will gain a greater understanding of:

- What the new Settled Status Scheme for EU nationals is, and who is going to need to make an application under it;

- What the application process for Settled Status will be including costs and timescales;

- The employer’s role in the application process, including legal obligations;

- Steps that employers could take to safeguard their current EU workforce;

- The impact of a ‘no-deal’ Brexit be on these plans;

- What the future system of rules for EU nationals is likely to look like for EU and non-EU nationals arriving after the implementation period; and

- Steps that employers can start taking now to prepare for future rule changes for EU nationals;

- "Agriculture Workers Scheme" which the Government propose to introduce in Spring next year
