The Future of Rural Mobility: A Workshop

The School of Geography at the University of Lincoln is hosting a workshop on rural mobility and how emerging developments in rural mobility and digital technology can be used to improve the lives of people and businesses in rural areas.

Event Information

Residents in rural areas face a number of mobility challenges, including access to services, employment, education as well as access to health and care services. The workshop will focus on the current mobility needs of rural communities and businesses, and provide the opportunity to discuss the potential role of innovative mobility solutions. We are keen to gather a wide variety of perspectives, and would really welcome attendance from stakeholders, community groups, academics and businesses that operate in rural areas or that have an interest in rural mobility.

Please join us for this workshop which we hope will be a valuable opportunity for networking and future thinking about rural mobility.

The workshop is part of a research project being conducted on behalf of Midlands Connect.
